Nya Klackabackens Bryggeri

During a roadtrip in 2011 to LA and Vegas three friends where having the time of their lives. Somewhere on the interstate 15 an idea was born that would come to be Klackabackens bryggeri. One of them had extensive knowledge in brewing, the second one provided the location and the third one had the concept. Today there is a finished brewery in Kristianstad that yearly produces over 200 000 thousand liters of beer. With up to 20 different varieties of beers the brewery offers a wide selection of different lagers, ales, porters and special beers. The specials consist of different seasonal beers e.g. “Summer Ale” for the summer and different holiday beers during winter. Their porter “What the Duck!” won gold during the Stockholm Beer & Whiskey festival in 2016 In the category “Best Porter” and a silver medal in the category “Best Swedish beer, all categories”. The porter is described as strong with heavy tones of coffee and chocolate. Besides attending festivals like the one in Stockholm they also host their own festival; “Klackabacken Beer Festival”. The festival is held annually in august and is located in Önnestad, multiple microbreweries are invited to market their beers there. Klackabackens beers are available to buy at systembolaget across the country and beer tasting is offered at the brewery or at desired locations for companies. Tours are also available to book where you can learn how the beer is made.

Take Pågatåg 1272 towards Höör station and get off at Stehag station. From there take bus 518 towards Klippan station and get off at Röstånga station. The brewery is located around 2 minutes from the station.
